A Moment with Unnecessary Prognostication // #1

I don’t normally make these kinds of predictions, but recent trips to my local department store AND my local grocery store AND my local craft store AND my local convenience store AND my local State Fair is pretty compelling:

I believe that in or around the year 2120, a salvage boat patrolling off the coast of China will detect an enormous field of metal miles below the surface. On the assumption that it might be a maritime treasure of some sort, robotic divers will be sent thousands of feet to the ocean floor to investigate, where they will find 9 trillion Fidget Spinners.

Someone made WAY too many of those things, I guess that’s what I’m saying.
