Do Not Reply

I’m pretty sure the person who created the “Do Not Reply” email, those message addenda which tell you that no one will pay any attention to your return communication, was a parent. It would have been such a natural transition.

“I’ll tell you why you’re being sent to your room, if you’ll just listen . . .no, I’m talking now, you had your chance. . . I’ll tell you again if you just . . . I’ll tell you if . . .I’m TRYING to tell you . . .no, I’M talking now, it’s your time to . . . . please stop interrupting . . . please let me. . . .please . . . if you would just . . . why are you still . . . DO NOT REPLY!!”
