Monopoly is a nice educational family game.
Among other things, it teaches kids that if you invest wisely in commercial enterprises, utility companies and vital transportation hubs, dodge taxes at all costs, take random, court-ordered lump-sum payouts from your peers, and avoid speaking up every time a bank accidentally gives you money, you can spend a considerable amount of time in jail and STILL have stacks of dough waiting for you on the outside, like the jailhouse-mogul you are!
