What I sometimes say while composing a document:
- “I think I’ll put a bullet point here.”
The conversation that evidently takes place inside of my computer a moment later:
- Electron 1: “Do you think he actually meant to put a bullet point in every line of this 25-page document?”
- Electron 2: “You know, I think he did.”
- Electron 1: “Every single line?”
- Electron 2: “Most assuredly.”
- Electron 1: “And . . . Done.”
- Electron 2: “Nice. Looks great. . . How was your weekend?”
- Happy
- Friday
- All!
